Appeals court sides with pharmacists who have a conscience (again)…

Posted on

An IL appeals court sided with two pharmacists who have been fighting an anti-conscience diktat by imprisoned ex-Guv Rod Blagojevich, that pesky Serb who fell out of grace when he tried to sell Barrie Soetoro’s senate seat back in 2008.

Glen Kosirog and Luke VanderBeek were elated and victorious in the persecution of the religious freedom of pharmacists in IL and elsewhere. They were represented by Frank Manion of the American Center for Law and Justice, a pro bono law firm which often defends health practitioners who face persecution due to their sincerely held religious and moral beliefs.

The ruling applies to only the two for now, according to Manion. Widespread application of their victory for all IL pharmacists  is expected.

Obamacare and HHS diktat rules seek to quash the rights of conscience of pharmacists, other health professionals and institutions, such as Catholic health care facilities.
