MS shows OH how it’s done: no Obamacare Medicaid expansion…

Posted on

While the State of Ohio did not formally accept the so-called federal Obamacare Medicaid expansion (of 244,000 more Ohioans) in the recently passed and signed biannual budget, they did add on eligiblity for 221,000 more Ohioans to become medical wards of the state with, well, Medicaid expansion.

MS, on the other hand, stuck it to the big government Dem minorities in both houses of its assemblies and shut the door with a firm “njet” on more Obamacare style Medicaid expansion. That means there won’t be 300,000 MORE Mississipians added to an existing 700,000 welfare users in a state of just under 3 million people….

That means 1/4 of the state is already on Medicaid and the big spending Dems wanted to increase that to MORE THAN 1/3 of the state’s population. ESH is not sure Stonewall Jackson had that kind of huge government in mind when he led that state into the Civil War against (what was to him) a tyrant centralized government.

That means no increases in abortions, abortifacients, sterlizations and so-called “contraceptives”.
