Two very good things occurred yesterday both of them abroad. One was in Australia and one in India. Both had to do with the heinous sin of sodomy, one of 4 sins that cries to heaven for vengeance.
In a unanimous ruling today the Australian High (Supreme) Court stuck down the so-called same-sex “marriage” law passed less than a month ago by the parliament of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
The Australian Capital Territory is a statutory territory created to house the federal seat of government, and is mainly associated with the national capital, Canberra. It has internal self-government, but lacks the full legislative independence enjoyed by the Australian states.
The Court ruled that the Australian Capital Territory’s Marriage Equality (Same Sex) Act 2013 was inconsistent with the Federal Marriage Act, which defines marriage as the union of a man and a woman, and was therefore unconstitutional.
Mundabor reports: Good and shocking news reach us today from India, Mundabor reports. The good news is that, certainly going against the trend of at least the stupid, corrupted, utterly amoral decadent West, the Indian Supreme Court has de facto reinstated sodomy laws in the country by banning the law that abolished them.
The shocking news is that, of all people, the Indian Cardinal Oswald Gracias should complain about it.
These 2 timely nuggets in the season of Advent (or Phillip’s Fast in the Eastern Rites) show that despite the overwhelming weight of the drive by media, government, Hollywood types and the entire left pushing sodomy 24/7, the fight is not lost nor is it over. If two governments run by libs can see the light, hope remains.
Maybe we just need the patience of Job despite how gloomy this perverted infected area of the culture and society has grown.
