Oops! Forgot that verse from Scripture…

Posted on Updated on

Pope Bergoglio strikes again, using the Christmas Urbi and orbi message time to remind atheists who fight with all their might to NOT believe, that they too can work with him since  “Peace is a daily commitment. It is a homemade peace,” he said.

The important part is how that peace is effected. Christ was pretty specific when He said:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.” [Matt XIV: 27]

Christ let us know a man-made, materialistic, hubris-driven “peace” is false and unlike the TRUE peace given by the man-God, the Prince of Peace, as we were reminded yesterday in song and Scripture.

Any peace without Christ is empty, self-absorbed and stands on a foundation of shifting sands that will topple such a poorly built house. Modernists deny this and so this “reaching out” to atheists is a false piety, since it lacks the desire to convert them and save their souls, the end game of Christianity and Catholicism.

We know all the helpy helpertons and ‘splainers will trot out to let us know the media mis-reported this and they need to ‘splain what the Pope meant in his usually confusing gibberish off the cuff remarks.

Wonder if the listening pope is listening?
