Louisiana Bishops Conference Endorses Abortifacient Drugs in Cases of Rape

The Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops (LCCB) has come out in favor of emergency contraception for cases of rape, despite the abortifacient nature of the measure and the Vatican’s insistence that it is morally impermissible.
In recent comments to Louisiana newspaper The Advocate, Tom Costanza, executive director of the LCCB, which speaks on behalf the Louisiana Catholic bishops on matters of public policy, endorsed a new state law requiring hospitals to dispense emergency contraception to sexual assault victims.
Act 513, passed in anticipation of the reversal of Roe v. Wade and signed last month by Gov. John Bel Edwards, a professed Catholic, requires “all licensed hospitals in this state” to offer emergency contraception pills to rape victims on demand.
“The treating healthcare provider shall inform the victim of the option to be provided emergency contraception at the hospital or healthcare facility and, upon the completion of a pregnancy test yielding a negative result, shall provide emergency contraception upon the request of the victim,” the bill states.

A white, former congresswoman with an “A” rating from the NRA could be next in line for the seat abandoned by Jesse Jackson Jr recently. Shaking up Chicagoland would be Debbie Halverson.
At first glance, Debbie Halvorson should have no business winning the Feb 26 special election. The former Democratic congresswoman was crushed by Jackson in a primary last year. She’s a white Democrat seeking to represent a district in which 54 percent of voters are African-American.
Jackson was AWOL last summer while secretly getting treated for a long standing bi-polar condition. Despite those travails, he won his district in Nov 2012, only to abdicate it shortly after.
Who says God doesn’t have a sense of humor if Halverson wins? ESH wonders what his racist, O’Bama-castrating father, the Revuhrund has to say about it?

With Adminstration-sponsored events like “QueerFest”, or the ‘Become a Lesbian for a day’ “C##tFest”, they CREATED an atmosphere where the perversions of a sicko like Sandusky found not only a home, but acceptance, and a staff willing to cover it up, for the sake of the MONEY the Football Program dragged in.
Penn State FIRED it’s 27 yr National Championship winning Women’s basketball coach–Rene Portland–in 2008, for telling a parent she would not tolerate homosexuality on her team, claiming she created a “Hostile, discriminative environment”.
In this kind of an atmosphere, can you hardly be surprised that child molestation of innocent minor children–as young as 10 or less– would go on, and be covered up, with no regrets?
